Join Duluth Honoree, Russ Salgy and walk with us this spring. Russ was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis , a form of arthritis which affects the spine, when he was in the 9th grade. During college, Russ noticed a decrease in range of motion in his major joints. It was also during college, that Russ had his first hip replacement. The second replacement occurred in November, 2005. Russ stays as active as possible through exercise routines and support from family and friends.
The Arthritis Walk® is the Arthritis Foundation’s annual nationwide event that raises awareness and funds to fight arthritis, the nation’s leading cause of disability. It is a tremendous opportunity to help improve the lives of 66 million men, women and children with arthritis or chronic joint symptoms. Get your company involved or recruit friends and family members to form a team. Best of all, walk in honor of a loved one with arthritis and know you’re making a difference by raising funds to support Arthritis Foundation research, public health and public policy efforts to improve the lives of people with arthritis.

On-line registration for the Duluth Arthritis Walk is now closed. There's still time to raise funds! You can register on site the morning of the walk!! On-site registration begins at 8:00 a.m.! See you there!
